A well constructed and worthwhile resource

A well constructed and worthwhile resource.
Some duplication with other related reference material but some very good case examples on the practical limitations, commercial relevance and planning challenges of industrial security at a strategic level.
At times there is an over emphasis on developed country resources and planning considerations such as CPTED but expanded in parts to make the argument for a global solution outside of police reports and RSO advice; which most acknowledge as of limited affect outside of the US/UK.
I found the crime analysis section to be very informative and practical.

(Non-native English speaker) Well in my opinion It's a good book if you're looking for information about the role of the security manager (or director), security decison makers or managers at a strategical level involved in security decisions. The methodology for (Security) Risk Assessments is based on "TAG's Risk Assessment Process". The information about threat assessment, vulnerability assessment and security surveys is not very detailed but is a good startig point.
