Interesting stuff!

Angela Kaelin's Black Magic for Dark Times: Spells of Revenge and Protection is a book of spells written for good people who have been wronged in some way and don't have any other recourse. Basically, it's intended for victims of crime where justice was not served. The author writes a lengthy introduction which includes some personal stories and the reason behind her writing this, plus a section on the difference between justice and revenge.
After the intro, the book goes into some basic protections that can be implemented, such as spreading sea salt across your thresholds or using crystals. There were some really interesting methods for discovering thieves and protecting yourself and your property from them. The spells are detailed with what you need to perform them as well as things to recite while doing the required actions. It's all straightforward and not dressed up with elaborate descriptions, so the plain English writing is nice for someone not already familiar with this subject matter. I will admit that some of the darker ones, like the Black Coffin Death Spell, were pretty disturbing in how it required you to bury something in a cemetery.
I am not a practitioner of magic in any way and read this ebook from an unknowing outsider's point of view because I found the material fascinating. Even if you have no intention to practice magic, it still makes for an interesting read into the process and components used for the spells. Be curious like I was, and check it out. You might learn something.

Dark Magick Heals Your Soul !!

"Black Magic for Dark Times: Spells of Revenge and Protection" is for healing. We live in a dangerous civilization. Anyone who doesn't see that is not paying attention (like the two reviewers above!) Being able to cast spells for justice, as our society and legal systems continue to fail, that is a very good reason to own this book. As a practitioner of magick, I can say these spells WORK. I have used similar ones myself with satisfying results.
I highly recommend this book! The authors, Victoria Amelia Sparks and Philip Julian Zorn, also recommend this book.

A Great Deal of Information for such a Little Book!

Ok...why does this book only have three Stars hmm... Well anyways this is not only a great book, but it's also a necessary book to own. I feel that there is a big difference between black/dark magick and sinister magick. Nothing about this book is sinister or wrong. As a human you have the right to utilize natural law and protect yourself against those who seek to harm you and this book will give you the power to make that happen. Now the spells in this book are mostly Hoodoo in nature (but not limited to hoodoo) so there is some christian undertone to it(remember the bible is just a big ol' spell book anyways) . Her chapter on police brutality was very insightful and one of her methods to stop police brutality is by casting out the evil entity (by word of power) that may be influencing them. I like that fact that she goes into depth with the spells. Some of the topics and spells feature are: Conjuring Power through Rage,Transferring Etheric Force from One Object to Another, Dragon Guard, Stopping White Collar Criminals, Santa Muerte,Binding Spell, Break Glamour of Institutions, Bad Marriage, Abusive Relationship, Stop rape, Employment of Daemons and much much more.
I also own Dorothy Morrison "Utterly Wicked: Curses, Hexes & Other Unsavory Notions" and "The Little Book of Curses and Maledictions for Everyday Use" and I feel the that this book is more detail,clear and serious in tone. The author also give you rituals and advice on protection and dealing with trauma.
So all in all I like this book and i'm very happy that I purchased it.
