WHICH also does not look like the cover of this book

There are multiple versions and editions with different cover pages. So BE CAREFUL when purchasing this book.

Make sure it's the correct edition, year, author, publication date, etc. in your syllabus. I purchased this from a third party seller and got edition 2 which cost $0.79, when i actually paid $89.49 expecting the 3rd edition, WHICH also does not look like the cover of this book.

Very confusing when purchasing this book, so be forewarned !!

I can't believe readers are still buying these "books". I estimate they have spent over 30 dollars and still don't have a complete story line. Just put out a complete book Kelly- thats what real aurthors do. Seeems greedy at this point.

why you people wasted your money to read this book

why you people wasted your money to read this book? This author is rediculously greedy. each book is about 30-40 pages. total 14 books, 400-500 pages cost more than 30$. The greatest best seller authors on amazon have never published a book that cost so much. When I read the third book, I figured what the author's intention, and I gave up. There are more aothors' much better stories with much better price on amazon. Readers should boycott such authors by not buying their books. They are robbing the readers. If I could give -5 stars, I would.

The storyline has changed since the last book, but it's still has the same characters in this story......The never ending story is here to stay!!! Great text! Just horrendous on kindle.

This review is for the kindle version!

I'm currently a CA-1 (1st year anesthesiology resident) who needed a good read to not look stupid preparing for my case the next day with my attending. For that, it's great! It goes over all the possible complications, the types of blocks and anesthesia that can be used, common concerns, positioning, etc that will make you look prepared and able to answer most of the basic questions you'll be pimped on about the case. It also covers almost EVERY type of surgery that you'll encounter as a CA-1 and even as just an anesthesiologist. For the text itself, I give it 4 stars. I don't give it 5 because some of the recommendations may not apply at your institution. For instance, it'll recommend placing an epidural or a peripheral catheter for a case. At my institution, we have a policy where no catheters are to be placed pre-op or intra-op, so although those options may not by explicitly useful, you can still do the relevant block.

What REALLY brings this review down to 3 stars is the usability on kindle. GET THE ACTUAL BOOK!!! It is EXTREMELY difficult to use on kindle. There's no table of contents that you can click that will take you directly to the page you want. It also groups procedures, so it'll tell you what kind of anesthesia to use for a group of surgeries (for instances all surgeries below the knee) but you have to wait till it describes the last surgery in that group before it covers it. So you're stuck swiping and swiping and swiping waiting to find that part. It's just very very clumsy, difficult, and frustrating to use, and I've been using ebooks for a while. But I think that's the fault of Kindle, if it was an ibooks product, it'd be great.

Overall, GREAT text, horrible platform on kindle. BUY THE TEXT! You won't regret it.

A very specific book. the menus could be way better

It is a nice book to review that procedure you do not use to make so offen. I bought the digital version and found it to be a litle bit on the expensive side compared with a big textbook like Barash for example. The menus of the digital version could be way much better and it makes search of the desidred topic a litle bit slower than you wish, not to mention difficult. 3 stars is the best i could give. I searched the renal transplantation topic for example and found it to be a litle bit on the shy side. It's a book for those who already have lots of books and wish to have one that can point specificly to a certain kind of procedure. One thing that i like is the estimation of blod loss for each procedure.

Helpful book for learning surgical procedures

Some love this book and some hate it, but from a nurse anesthetist prospective I find it useful. Despite working in the surgical/trauma ICU, I didn't have an in-depth knowledge of what was involved in each procedure and this book helped. Each procedure, or groups of smaller ones, had the information I needed about the surgery, positioning, and a complete anesthetic plan so that I didn't search through three or four other books trying to find that data. It's not perfect, and the anesthetic management may not be what's commonly done in your area, but it helped me formulate a rough plan so that I could extract specific information from other books or literature to fine tune my plan. In my opinion it's worth the money.

A five-time all Australian, he topped the AFL goal kicking three times in his 270 game career and kicked the ton twice, his first in the Essendon Premiership season of 2000. Born into a football family, it was clear early in his career that he had the ability to surpass his father John's 29 games with Carlton. For a while it looked he would head to Carton as well, but Essendon conjured up a complex deal to secure the talented 16-year-old in the 1994 pre-season draft. Brothers Simon and Brad each played football too and are now involved with the Fremantle Football Club, and sister Kylie works on The Footy Show at Channel 9. His mother Bev, even met his father at the football. Sport, and in particular football, was and remains in the blood. This book is the story of a kid driven by a fear of failure to climb the highest peaks in football. Of a young footballer who taught himself a process to become the most accurate shot for goal in the AFL after a tirade from one his coaches. It is how a boy with natural ability became the captain of the Essendon Football Club, a premiership player and a life member of the AFL. And now it is about the transformation into devoted father and a multi-media expert on AFL when it looked like from the outside his career was cut short before its time; of a testy relationship with his final coach and the bone crunching hit that saw him finish his time as a player on suspension. It looks at how he considered a future with other clubs before deciding to retire on his terms. Told-before tale STILL charming and with unique visuals that set it apart.

Yes notion of a box being more than a box to a boy is something explored in many other similar books and tales but this is still very charming. The unique claymation type photo/illustrations make this book a bit off-putting AND memorizing at the same time. My 5 year old loves it. I appreciate a work of art in a kid's book and this does not disappoint.

Dr Mircea Dologa, Paris, France is a multi-million dollar real estate owner and began his investment and trading career in the pharmaceutical and real estate industry. He is a Commodity Trading Advisor and contributes to international trading magazines. He has a B.S in theoretical physics and a doctorate in Medicine from the School of Medicine in Paris. Pitchforks...

I love median lines, it's an amazing method.
I discovered it after reading one of Tim Morge free articles (there are many others).
I tried to educate myself as much as I could but unfortunately, there aren't many books on the subject.

If you're a beginner, I suggest to read Greg Fisher and Tim Morge books.
They both offer free material worth studying before thinking of purchasing the books though (and I have to say that Tim's book is quite expensive and very basic, many of his free articles are more advanced)

If you already have some experience with median lines, I suggest to read Patrick Mikula's book, it's a very good book that goes through many different uses of median lines, a must-read.

as for this book, I was disappointed and gave up halfway through it... I really wanted to like it and study it... but...
it's not an easy read... very boring and painful... and the charts are horrible.
I bought a book about median lines expecting to see charts with median lines... why clutter the small charts with all these moving averages and many other indicators?

the book clearly has potential, and the author seems to be very knowledgeable about median lines...
if only he writes in an easier way (Tim's articles are so easy to read, in comparison) and posts cleaner charts, I would give it another chance.

Great book!

As a now successful trader, I wish I had found Dr Dologa's work "Integrated Pitchfork Analysis - Volume 1" earlier! If I had, I'm certain my learning curve would have been shortened significantly; progressing from a trading novice, to someone who is now consistently profitable.
The book is written in an educative style, essential for developing the practical knowledge required for trading success. I have to thank Dr Dologa for making his trading research available - Volume 1 has been a refreshing, focused read - and I'm looking forward with anticipation, to reading Volume 2 & 3
